Llandovery Farmers Market

Llandovery’s historic Market Square hosts the farmers market on the 1st Saturday of the month from April to October in 2025. Located in the town centre (SA20 0AA) it is open from 10am – 2pm.

Market Square is situated close to the car park.

Llandovery Farmers Market’s key aim is to principally offer produce that has been grown, reared, caught or processed from within 25 miles of Llandovery. We will prioritise processed food and drink that contain as many local ingredients as practically possible. We want customers to have confidence in knowing where their produce came from.

Our guiding principles:

Community Hub: Meet your friends and buy quality, local food at fair prices
Local shopping: Give your money directly to the producer – Cut out the middleman!
Connect with your food: A chance to talk to the producer about their produce and processes
Responsible shopping: Supporting small-scale producers is better for the local economy and the environment. Shopping local means less plastic, less packaging, less travel and more wildlife-friendly, free-range rearing or pesticide-free growing
Eat fresh: Healthy eating from having local, fresh, in-season, quality produce at fair prices
A stronger local economy: Your money goes straight into a local pocket helping local employment and spending

A community hub

We want the market to provide a focus for the community and its visitors to enjoy a day out in Llandovery. As well as doing your shopping we will also aim to have some sort of entertainment in the form of music or a keynote speaker.
